About the Christmas Market
We’ve always dreamt of showing Sri Lankans something completely new — a Christmas celebration inspired by Europe’s centuries-old markets. For decades, “Christmas events” in Sri Lanka have meant music shows, carols, food and drinks. We’re going beyond that.

🎅 Santa Claus Village
Step into a magical world inspired by the famous Santa Claus Village of Finland! Visitors to our Christmas Market will discover a charming village where children and adults alike can meet Santa, hop onto his sleigh for memorable photos, and enjoy a variety of festive activities with the man himself.
🛡 Viking Cabin
Travel back in time to the traditions of the far North. In our Viking Cabin, you’ll explore how the ancient Norse celebrated Yule — the winter festival that helped shape many of today’s Christmas customs. Learn stories of the Vikings, experience their festive spirit, and see how history meets modern Christmas cheer.
🎶 Live Music & Carols
Let the sound of Christmas fill the air! Our stage will host live performances throughout the day, featuring traditional carols, festive classics, and vibrant local music. Sing along, discover new melodies, and feel the joyful energy of the season brought to life by talented musicians and choirs.
🪵 Wooden Stalls
Wander through rows of charming wooden stalls, just like in the great European Christmas markets. Each stall is beautifully decorated and brimming with handcrafted gifts, festive décor, and unique finds from local and international artisans — perfect for your holiday shopping.

Follow the delicious aromas to our bustling food area, where you can savour traditional European Christmas treats alongside Sri Lankan favourites. From warm drinks and sweet pastries to hearty festive dishes, there’s something to delight every palate.
